We’re Nigel and Karen – a husband and wife team – proud owners of our family-run motorhome hire business. Alongside us are our three teenage sons (and our dog!), who all play a part in the adventure — even helping with the cleaning and preparation of our motorhomes from time to time.

For Karen, life on wheels began long before this business. Growing up, my parents owned a caravan and embraced the caravanning lifestyle for 50 wonderful years, creating a lifetime of cherished memories along the way. Family holidays were always spent exploring — from three-week trips to France or Cornwall to travelling around the UK. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong love of freedom, fresh air, and quality time together.

When we married, we started with a tent and enjoyed camping trips with the boys (and our eldest son, who has now flown the nest and prefers jetting off abroad!). As a family, we decided to buy our own caravan to see if we could create the same magical experiences. It didn’t take long before we were hooked. What we love most is the freedom to explore at our own pace, discovering new places, spending time outdoors, and enjoying campsite life together — especially with our dog, who absolutely loves our caravan adventures.

After touring France for four weeks one summer in our caravan, we couldn’t help but notice how many motorhomes we saw on the road. Seeing the flexibility and freedom they offered — being able to stop, stay and explore whenever you choose — really inspired us. That trip planted the seed for our next adventure.

We decided to invest in a motorhome ourselves and soon realised we wanted to share that same sense of freedom with others. When friends of ours decided to sell their established motorhome hire business to begin a new chapter, it felt like everything aligned. We’re incredibly grateful to them for their guidance and support as we took over, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed building on what they created.

Today, we are proud to offer two beautiful Swift motorhomes, giving our customers the chance to experience the same sense of adventure and freedom that we cherish — all with a touch of comfort and luxury.
